Ugezu Ugezu, a Nigerian filmmaker, has lamented the country’s lack of a digitalized data management system, which he claims has resulted in a slew of problems.
The filmmaker added that “people in public offices wake up whenever they feel like and change their dates of birth” because Nigeria has a digitalized data management system, sharing a collage of Tinubu, Onyeka Owenu, and Charly Boy with their ages attached.
He further claimed that due to the lack of a data management system, people from other countries freely walk in through the porous borders and become Nigerians with surprising ease.
Ugezu Ugezu went on to say that Nigeria is run by cruel politicians who are consumed by greed. According to the filmmaker,

Because politicians in Nigeria have consistently refused to evolve a proper computerized, pure digitalized data management system in Nigeria, people from other nations freely walk in through the porous borders and become Nigerians with alarming ease. People in public offices can wake up anytime they feel like and change their dates of birth.
