The opposition Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress, mocking the party’s ongoing primary polls.
Atiku, who is most likely watching the ceremony on television, chimed in on the party’s politicians, claiming that the 2023 elections will be a referendum on their failing policies.
The former vice president’s remark comes in the wake of widespread public outcry about increased insecurity, unemployment, and food prices under Buhari led administration.
Atiku wrote on the microblogging platform;
A“The APC can gloss over everything, but not its scorecard for the mandate Nigerians gave to the party. The 2023 elections will be a referendum on the failed policies of the administration.”
