A man who is yet-to-be-identified has reportedly been caught red-handed after he tried absconding with a bottle of wine from a shop in Akwa Ibom State.
According to reports, the incident happened on Thursday 13th October 2022 at a supermarket at the Aka Etinan road in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Upon interrogation, the man who seem to be in his early 30s confessed to the crime, saying he stole the bottle of wine purposely to celebrate his birthday.
A photo circulating on social media captured the moment the young man was being held by the shirt after he was caught with the product in his hand.
