Drama ensued between a man and a woman who has been refusing to visit him despite collecting transport fare.

When she finally showed up to his place the young man caught her unawares and decided to pay her back by locking her up inside his apartment.

A video posted on TikTok by his friend, @mamus006 showed the lady crying and begging to be released after being trapped inside.

He explained that his buddie had sent the lady money on 3 occasions, but she did not fulfill her part of coming to his place. The day she finally came, he refused to let her go.

She wanted to leave his house after the visit but he remembered how she often collected money from him without coming and told her that he never forgot.

She was crying profusely and panicking but he refused to let her out of the gate. Speaking in Pidgin, he mocked the lady for falling into his trap.

“As for people who nor understand my friend dey send her tp 3x she nor come so today she cor take bike come my friend com pay she com dey say I won go hux,” @mamus006 wrote.

Meanwhile, it was reported earlier that one Ali Abubakar failed to appear before a Shari’a court sitting in Kaduna due to lack of transport fare.

His wife, Ajinomo Ohunenene-Ummi approached the court to ask for dissolution of their marriage on Wednesday, but her husband was absent.

Abubakar, who resides in Abuja, had sent word through the court messenger, Tajuddeen Saidu that he would not be available for the hearing because he does not have transport fare from the nation’s capital to Kaduna.

Her husband prayed the court to go ahead with the proceedings and grant the petitioner her wishes.

The petitioner, through her counsel, Nafisa Ibrahim stated that she wants to redeem herself from the marriage and was ready to return the N50,500 dowry paid by her husband.

She also prayed to the court to grant custody of their one-year-old daughter and order the defendant to pay N20,000 monthly feeding allowance.

However, the Judge, Malam Abdulrahman Isiyaku, ordered the court messenger and the petitioner to call Abubakar on phone so that he can respond to the claims.

The court messenger reported to the judge that Abubakar had agreed to the divorce and child custody but said he would pay N10,000 monthly feeding allowance for his daughter.

He added that Abubakar had agreed for the complainant to use the N50,500 dowry as a monthly feeding allowance for their child for five months.

The judge asked the complainant if she agreed with the amount and she concurred.

Isiyaku dissolved the marriage through Khul’i (redemption) and ordered the petitioner to keep the N50,500 meant for a refund of the dowry to feed her baby for five months in place.

The judge also ordered Abubakar to continue taking care of the child’s health, clothing and education until she reaches school age.
