Bola Tinubu will replace President Muhammadu Buhari, according to Captain Yahaya Jarabu, national coordinator of the Tinubu-Shettima Support Group, who made the announcement at a news conference. He confidently said that the pending legal issue would not have any impact on Tinubu’s inauguration.
We all accept that it is legal for anybody to challenge an election’s results in court, he said. However, Tinubu emerged victorious in the campaign for the presidency and will now lead Nigeria.
He said it’s unlikely that Peter Obi or Atiku Abubakar would prevail in the court battle. According to Buhari, Peter Obi has little chance of winning given his previous fruitless attempts to win legal battles against competitors like Goodluck Jonathan, Yaradua, and Obasanjo.
Atiku Abubakar or Peter Obi, according to Yahaya Jarabu, have little to no chance of winning in court. He further said that Tinubu will be in charge of Nigeria throughout the legal procedures and that court matters typically take a year or more to be resolved. He went on to claim that Tinubu’s ascent to power wouldn’t be hindered in any way by the court case since it wouldn’t impact the INEC’s (Independent National Electoral Commission) statement.
