Nollywood actress and film director Sola Kosoko provides a peek into her married life, sharing details in a recent interview with colleague Biola Bayo. The movie star discloses that she first met her husband at the age of 20, and at that time, he had completed his tertiary education.
Despite religious differences – Sola being a Christian and her husband a Muslim – the couple’s relationship endured. In the interview, she expresses that she didn’t initially consider marriage due to their religious contrast. However, her husband proved resilient, standing the test of time.
“I actually met my husband when I was very young, I was 20 when I met him. He was already a graduate, I think he was writing his final exams in Higher Institution and he spoke to me. My husband was able to stand the test of time. I didn’t have the mind to marry him because he is a Muslim and I am a Christian. We courted for a long time before we got married.”
