Popular Nigerian actor, Yomi Fabiyi has made some revelations regarding the health condition of his veteran colleague, Babatunde Omidina (popularly known as Baba Suwe). Yomi made the revelation during an interview at the Special Offences Court in Lagos State, where fellow thespian, Omiyinka Olanrewaju (popularly known as Baba Ijesha) was arraigned.

You may recall that comic actor, Baba Suwe had complained concerning the state of his health after his encounter with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The thespian who made Nigerians laugh over the years has continuously claimed that the state of his health deteriorated after he had an encounter with the law some years ago.

During an interview regarding the ongoing court case involving Baba Ijesha and the child of a fellow entertainer, Damilola Adekoya, Yomi emphasized the need for the law to take its course on the issue.

When asked if he could play a similar role in defending someone else’s rights, Yomi Fabiyi referred to the case of Baba Suwe and NDLEA. Yomi Fabiyi emphasised the role he has played in speaking out and seeking help for Baba Suwe since the ordeal began.

During the interview, Yomi Fabiyi Said, “Go and check Baba Suwe’s legs, I am still struggling to buy a

wheelchair because of his situation.”
