A video which surfaced online showed the moment a commercial bus conductor demanded the newly designed naira note as mode of payment.
He rejected the old notes and stated that those who are unable to present the new currency would have to pay through transfer irrespective of how much the fare is.
This caused confusion and some unease inside the bus as passengers had apparently not planned to make any transfer.
A passenger shared the video with Instagram blog, Gossipmill and showed how rowdy the bus became when the driver insisted that he won’t move until the payment matter is settled.
