There has been a massacre at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Owo, a small community in Ondo State were over 50 church members have lost their lives.
According to reports, the gunmen suspected to be bandits were said to have stormed the church during service on Sunday morning, June 5 and started shooting sporadically.
Not less than 50 church members have died while the Federal Medical Center, Owo has received many casualties.
Heartbreaking reactions have been elicited on social media as many mourn the demise of their loved ones. It’s distressing to see blood flowing through the church in the gruesome photos and videos shared on the microblogging platform.
