The Nigerian entertainment industry was thrown into a state of mourning after the death of veteran actor, Murphy Afolabi.
Murphy was buried today and A-list Yoruba celebrities were seen in tears as they bid farewell to their colleague and friend.
The burial which took place in Ikorodu, Lagos state, was attended by several celebrities, including Mr Latin, Kemi Korede, Kamilu and others.
The mood at the event was solemn as the late actor’s body was moved from the mortuary to his residence for burial.
Family members and friends could not hold back their tears as they paid their last respects to the deceased.
Murphy Afolabi, who was a seasoned actor and movie producer, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023, after a brief illness. He was 49 years old. His death came as a shock to many of his colleagues and fans, who took to social media to express their condolences and pay tribute to his legacy.
