“I work in a foreign construction company and I live in Abuja with my husband and 2 kids. We got married in 2014. We met 6 months after I broke up with my ex. My ex was a good boyfriend while we were dating, he really took care of me and we loved each other deeply but there were family and religion factors that prevented us from getting married, so we had to call it a quit on mutual agreement and no hard feelings. We moved on.
Six months later, I met my husband, infact, when I saw him, I knew he was the one as I had a strange feeling when we met, there was a connection but you know, as a lady, I had to comport myself and play hard to get. Weeks later, we started dating and 3 months into our relationship, he proposed and of course, we got married.
I was working in the company before I met my husband and after I broke up with my ex. The one moment, there was a change in adminstration and recruitments were just done, I was surprised to see that my ex boyfriend happened to be my new boss. Well, I told my husband about the news and he wasn’t comfortable with it and days later, he asked me to quit my job and look for another one. He doesn’t even want me to work there while searching for another, he wants me to quit whether I find another job or not.
