Woman Makes Enormous Paper Bouquets And Proves That Creativity Has No Limits

You don’t need much to be creative. All you have to do is take advantage of the resources that you have at the moment and let your imagination run wild. In fact, there’s a quote that says just the same. And I couldn’t agree more with it.

Artist Marianne Eriksen-Scott Hansen is one of those people. I came across her profile the other day while I was casually scrolling through Instagram desperately trying to find inspiration and put my mind off the global madness these days.

She, my friends is a paper art creator and a slow art advocate and she’s the most incredible and unique person I’ve recently discovered. Marianne has completely mastered the art of making mesmerizing, enormous and eco-friendly paper blossoms. Her bouquets are made of one thousand or more millimeter-thin pieces of tissue paper. And she’s been doing this for more than five years now. That explains why her work is absolutely flawless awe-inspiring.

“Just as you need food in your stomach and clothes on your body, so do you think you need beauty. I’ve decided that the bit of beauty I might have inside just goes out,” she said in an interview.

What’s more, she’s also worked with many designers like Viktor & Rolf and Karl Lagerfeld. Her wonderful works of art have also been used by Royal Copenhagen at Amagertorv in Copenhagen. And let’s not forget to mention that she’s also exhibited her art at Copenhagen Contemporary, Hempels Glas Museum and Voergaard Castle.

But perhaps the thing that makes me fall in love with her creativity, even more, is the fact that she creates sustainable art. In a nutshell, she likes to work with what’s available to her.

“I’d rather use what’s available. If I could design the paper myself, it wouldn’t inspire me. Now I have to make every effort to get something flavorful out of all these pang colors. I really like that,” she said in an interview.

Long story short, she’s truly amazing. If you don’t believe me, just keep scrolling. We made a collection of some of the finest blossoms she has ever created. Or better yet, check her Instagram account and give her a follow. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
