On Sunday, January 9, Wike promised to expose other illegal refiners’ accomplices in a state-wide broadcast.

The Rivers State Governor also ordered the Rivers State Head of Service to investigate and perhaps recommend the prosecution of a Director in the Rivers State Civil Service for assisting the operation of illicit refineries in the state.

Wike also directed that individuals apprehended for unlawful trading and violating the motorbike ban in Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt, Rivers State’s two metropolitan Local Government Areas, be prosecuted immediately.

He reiterated the restriction on motorcycles in Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt, as well as the prohibition on traders using improvised structures and umbrellas in G.R.A phases one and two.

In other news, Sandra Iheuwa appears to have reacted to her former spouse Steve Thompson’s announcement that their marriage had ended 5 months after they were married.

According to a previous article by Lindaikejiblog, Steve claimed that he “wasted” 45 million Naira on Sandra’s wedding, only to realize that Sandra “married for social media, not for the home.”

He claimed that no one can marry Sandra and that she fights everyone, including his family members, and that she continuously tells him that he married her in order to obtain an American “Green Card.”

He also claimed that Sandra’s “too much use of social media” has made their marriage unworkable.

Sandra revealed her hunger for maize and pear in an Instagram photo posted hours after her estranged husband’s social media outburst. “Na pregnant hormones I get, I don’t kill anybody,” she wrote.
