With the outbreak of coronavirus in Nigerian, Many has continued to live in fear, panic and uncertainty.
Amidst the fears the Mayegun of Yoruba Land King Wasui Ayinde Marshal and Nollywood stars in the likes of Faithia Balogun, Tayo Sobola, Femi Adebayo Salami, Olaniyi Mikail Afonja, popularly known as Sanyeri among others have advise Nigerians on the need to stay safe in this period.
Disclosing the development Faithia Balogun Willliams took to her Instagram page to make the call along Nollywood stars aforementioned. She wrote:The world is in panic, Covid-19 (coronavirus) has thrown us into a terrible fear. But at this point we need to show more love than to recieve. Please follow the precautions and be sure that we at UCF really do care for you. This shall pass as well. May The Almighty HEAL The World.
In the bid to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the federal governt has shutdown various institution and markets across the state will also shutdown on Friday 27th March 2020.
Sola Kosoko, the daughter of veteran actor Jide Kosoko, took to her Instagram handle to sensitize Nigerians on the reality of COVID-19 and the preventive measures to adopt.
She urged Nigerians to adhere to the preventive measures stated by the health officials like washing of hands, maintaining personal hygiene, social distancing and more.
Sola Kosoko wrote: “Hello everyone. It is no longer news that Coronavirus is real, please let us comply with all the directives of our health officials and the government.
” Let us maintain a high level of hygiene; we shall surely win this war by God’s grace,” she said.
