Popular Nigerian music artist, Tiwatope Savage, who was born on the 5th of February 1980, has now clocked 41 years today, what a milestone!
However, not many people know much about her background or Family either. But there was once a time when her darling mother was accused of witchcraft. However, despite the fact that she was born in Nigeria, she and her parents relocated to London where she had her secondary school at 11 years.
Well, for many who don’t know, Tiwa is not only a professional musician but also a songwriter and an actress for that. However, it was until she clocked 16 before she started her music career overseas. And in the year 2009, she hit it big when she sign a deal with Some/ATV Music publishing after graduating from the prestigious Barklee college of music. But as fate would have it, she moved back to her home land when the Nigerian music industry started booming.
And in the year 2012, she officially signed a with the famous music label, owned by Don Jazzy, Marvin Records. And since then, she has successfully had some collaborations with the likes of Reekado Banks, Wizkid, Don Jazzy, Korede Bello, D’prince and not to forget, Olamide.
