Meet This Nollywood Actor Who Speaks The Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa and English Language

Nollywood Industry is filled with unique and talented actors who are making the industry proud with their talents. One of these actors who has contributed immensely to the progress of the industry is Kelvin Ikeduba.

Kelvin Ikeduba is a popular actor who was born in 1976 in Lagos state, but he’s a native of Delta state. The actor is known for acting in both the English and Yoruba Nollywood movie industry.

According to him, he came into the movie industry by coincidence. It all happened when he escorted a friend to an audition where he also decided to join his friend in the audition; he was selected afterwards. He debuted in the year 2000.

He joined the Yoruba movie sector through the help of Mr. Femi Ogedengbe. He introduced him to Saheed Balagon who later gave him a role in a movie he was producing titled “Omo Alhaji.” Ever since then, he has featured in many other movies; both Yoruba and English.

The actor is known for playing bad boy roles which include Armed robbery, cultist, hitman, and other bad boy roles. He has acted alongside other actors like Sylvester Madu, Emmanuel Ehmudu, and other actors.

However, there is a unique fact about him that makes him stand out amongst other actors; he hears and communicates in the Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, and English languages. He has said it on many occasions and this, supposedly, gives him an edge over other actors.

Kelvin is very talented, hardworking, creative, and can perfectly play any movie role assigned to him by the movie directors. He has different awards to his prestige which include; The Best Crossover Actor at the Yoruba Movie Academy Awards, and The Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the Best of Nollywood Awards.

He has featured in Over 100 movies where he exhibited his talents and creativity; these movies include “Edo Decree”, “Kiss The Dust”, “Last Dance”, “Under the Sky”, “Critical Truth” among others.
