The Nigerian Nollywood Yoruba comic actor, Ebun Oloyede populalry known as Olaiya Igwe took to his Instagram page to celebrate his birthday with his colleagues today. Sharing some pictures he wrote
Another year has dawned in this human endeavor
My hopes, dreams, and aspirations remain as clear as ever
The blockades, obstacles, and barriers are many
But the true leader in me must not succumb to any
In this journey, I’ve come a long way
But the way before me is still very long

Olaiya is well known for his comical roles in Yoruba movies. Igwe is an award winning Nigerian actor and movie producer born in Kenta, Oke-Ejigbo Abeokuta, Oguns state 44 years ago. Igwe started acting in the 1970s after joining Musbau Shodimu Theatre Organisation based in Abeokuta.
He is not only unique with his tribal marks, he is an amazing talent that has a carved a niche for himself in the movie industry.
The actor has produced numerous Award winning movies such as Ololade (Mr Money), Iru Esin, kosi tabi sugbon, Baale Oko ilu and son. He also features in the popular Africa Magic television series Awon Aladun De.
After he got series of nominations such as City People Movie Award for Comic Actor of the Year (Yoruba).
