Nigerian comedienne, Helen Paul has suggested in her latest post that many people are going through a lot in real life, however, when they come on social media, they portray a life of good living.
Using herself as an example, she recounted how she once hid the truth away from social media after getting involved in an accident.
According to her, some time ago, she was involved in a car accident in Abuja and this made her suffer a concussion to her head, and she had to wear sunglasses for a while.
During this period, when taking pictures with others, she would leave her sunglasses on and many complained that I didn’t want my face to show in pictures with them, however, the actual truth was that she didn’t want people to see how she was looking.
She made this known in a recent post she made on her verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Instagram.
The post she made reads;
“Sometime ago, I was involved in a car accident in Abuja. I suffered a concussion to my head and had to wear sunglasses for a while. When taking pictures with others, I would leave my sunglasses on and many complained that I didn’t want my face to show in pictures with them. Some even assumed I was being proud, being a star 
They were totally oblivious of the true situation. Not all things are truly what they appear to be. Many are hiding alot and showing the best side on social media. Focus on the majors and forget the minors. Thank God
