He is from the Nigerian state of Ondo. Funsho Adeolu was educated in Lagos State, Nigeria, for both primary and secondary school. He continued his secondary education at Asharudeen College in Isolo, Lagos State, after finishing primary school.
Funsho Adeolu attended university and majored in Guidance and Counseling. He began his acting career in 1987, working with famous Yoruba actor Antar Laniyan.
Funsho Adeolu began her acting career on stage before moving on to television shows on the Nigerian Television Authority before pursuing a career in movies. He rose to prominence as a result of the television series Palace.
