A 70-year-old man identified as Ben Duamlong, has graduated from the University of Jos (UNIJOS) with a first-class degree.

According to DailyTrust, Duamlong graduated from the institution in 2022–2023 together with 20,532 other students.

The ex-Super Eagles coach claimed that after retiring as a football coach, he chose to enroll in the undergraduate program because he was passionate about learning.

The septuagenarian claimed that it shouldn’t be the case that earning a first-class degree is considered to be a difficult undertaking for students.

“What prompted me to go back to the university at this age is because of my passion for art. All my life, I have
always drawn but never painted. I like painting. I can draw but I can’t paint.

So, after retiring in 2014, as a footballer, I stayed home doing nothing. That is why I decided to go back to school,” Duamlong said.

In other news, a Nigerian lady, identified simply as Renike, has humorously called out a fellow passenger on her flight from Lagos to Casablanca, Morocco, for repeatedly releasing flatulence during the journey.

Renike took to her Twitter handle to express her dissatisfaction with the passenger for almost suffocating her with the strong odor of his/her farts.
