Here are five promising young Nigerian entertainers who died young
Susan Oluwabimpe Filani, known by the stage name Goldie, was a Nigerian singer and a Big Brother Africa star signed to Kennis Music. She complained of a headache and was rushed to hospital. She died shortly after that event of reported “hypertensive heart disease”. She was 31.
Olaitan Olanipekun better known as Dagrin, was a fast-rising Nigerian singer, who released hot songs like Pon Pon Pon and Kondo. In 2010, Da Grin died in a car accident in Lagos. Dagrin’s death was a major blow in the entertainment industry. The Yoruba rapper has been credited with being the instigator of the new era in indigenous rap in Nigeria that inspired artists like Olamide, Phyno, and Reminisce etc
