Ladies, do you believe that good men still exist?

Sometimes, love is something that just happens to fall into an unbelievably lucky person’s lap. However, for the most part, love is always something that you’re just going to have to struggle and fight for. For the most part, love is really something that you need to give your everything to if you want to find any success in it. You might be so unlucky that you have to endure a few heartaches before you can find a good man. It’s important that you never lose hope.

Just because you have had a string of bad luck with your relationships doesn’t mean that you’re never going to get it right. The good man is out there. And it’s always important that you maintain your belief in the fact that he exists. If you’re not convinced, here are 10 reasons why you should probably change your mind.

1. You attract mostly what you believe.

The law of attraction. This isn’t just something that people have made up over the years. It’s real. You really do attract what you believe. You really do attract the kind of energy that you give off into the world. If you always believe that all men are going to be bad, then you are essentially going to attract all of the bad men to come into your life.

2. You risk becoming a bitter woman.

No good guy is ever going to want to be around a bitter woman. And so, if you allow yourself to stay bitter about the state of men in the world, you are essentially repelling all of the good guys from you. You never want to be bitter about your romantic situation. You can be sad about your bad luck. But you don’t want that sadness to turn into something toxic.

3. You set expectations to be unbelievably high for good men.

The more that you believe that good men don’t exist, then the higher your expectations will actually be for all men that you meet. You are going to start to equate finding good men with finding Bigfoot or unicorns. Accept that all good men do exist – it’s just that they aren’t going to be as perfect as you want them to be. No one is perfect after all.

4. You risk settling for someone you’re not really meant to be with.

If you convince yourself that good men don’t exist, you might just settle for a bad guy out of desperation to be in a relationship just for the hell of it. And that’s definitely bad.

5. You might just cling to the idea of eventually ending up with prince charming.

Prince charming does not exist in this real life. If you really want to find love, you have to accept the fact that reality isn’t always going to meet your fairytale expectations. Let go of the idea of prince charming just randomly showing up in your life. There is no knight in shining armor who is going to come and sweep you off your feet. Let go of these childish beliefs so that you don’t end up disappointed all the time.

6. You risk talking yourself out of trying to find the love that’s meant for you.

If you convince yourself that good men don’t exist, then you essentially talk yourself out of trying to find love. You tell yourself that it’s a lost cause and that you’re only going to be fighting a losing fight. And that’s all untrue. You always have a shot at love so as long as you believe.

7. You might think yourself to be undeserving of love.

The more you buy into this idea that only bad men exist in your life, you might effectively lower your self-esteem. You might consider yourself to be unworthy of love and that’s bad for you in the long run. You never want a diminished sense of confidence.

8. It’s irrational to think that all men are bad.

There are so many men who roam the face of this earth. It would be downright irresponsible and irrational for you to think that all men are automatically bad. That’s just mathematically illogical. There are bound to be good men out there.

9. You risk becoming a woman that good men don’t date.

Good men don’t want to be around women who are always so negative and cynical. And that’s exactly the kind of woman you are going to be if you convince yourself that all men are bad; that all men are not to be trusted.

10. You shut yourself off to the possibility of finding love.

At the end of the day, you’re just going to have to believe in love if you eventually want to find it for yourself. You are never going to be able to find love unless you believe in its existence. And so, if you convince yourself that there are no good men out there for you to find, you are essentially shutting the door for love to walk into your life.
